Your heart is the most important muscle in your body; think of it as the motor that keeps you running. Just like your car, maintenance of the motor is primary to keeping your body running as efficiently as possible. The stronger your heart is, the easier you will breathe, the more stamina you will have, and you’ll move with less effort.

Walking, running, working out, activities of daily living – everything you do – will become more manageable and enjoyable. Regular cardio-respiratory exercise – any activity that raises your heart rate for a period of time – is recommended for everyone and will give you an improved quality of life.
